CAD REDRAW: STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Scope of Services
CAD Redraw will provide the services and deliverables described in the applicable quote, order or invoice. Services are based on the source drawings, documents, instructions and information supplied by the client.
2. Client-Provided Information
The client is responsible for providing complete and accurate source information. CAD Redraw is not responsible for errors, omissions or inaccuracies contained within the original source material supplied for conversion or redraw.
3. Redraw Services – No Engineering or Design Verification
CAD Redraw provides drawing conversion and redraw services based on existing source materials supplied by the client. Our work is intended to reproduce, convert and organize the information contained in those source materials into the requested CAD or digital format.
CAD Redraw does not provide architectural, engineering, surveying or other professional design services as part of a standard redraw project. We do not independently verify, certify, approve or validate the engineering, dimensions, specifications, code compliance, design intent or technical accuracy of the information contained in the source material.
The accuracy and completeness of the completed deliverables are therefore dependent on the accuracy, completeness and legibility of the source material provided. Existing errors, omissions, inconsistencies or outdated information contained in the source material may be reproduced in the resulting deliverables.
CAD Redraw does not provide professional stamps or seals and does not represent that redraw deliverables have been reviewed or approved by a licensed architect, engineer or other regulated professional. Where professional verification, certification or approval is required, it is the client’s responsibility to obtain such review from the appropriate qualified professional.
4. Quote Validity
Unless otherwise stated, quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
5. Changes in Scope
Pricing is based on the scope and information available at the time the quote is prepared. Additional drawings, revisions, requirements or changes to the agreed scope may result in additional charges. Any material change will be communicated before additional work proceeds.
6. Turnaround Times
Any turnaround time provided is an estimate and begins once CAD Redraw has received approval to proceed, any required payment, and all information necessary to complete the work.
Project timing may be affected by changes in scope, missing information, delayed payment or client review requirements.
7. Client Review
The client is responsible for reviewing completed deliverables and notifying CAD Redraw of any errors or concerns within a reasonable period following delivery.
Corrections required because CAD Redraw did not follow the agreed project requirements will be addressed without additional charge. Revisions resulting from new information, changed requirements or changes to the original source material may be quoted separately.
8. Payment
Invoices are payable according to the payment terms shown on the applicable quote or invoice. CAD Redraw reserves the right to require partial or full payment before work begins and may withhold the commencement or delivery of work until required payment has been received.
Accepted payment methods are credit card, electronic bank transfer (ACH), or wire transfer.
CAD Redraw does not accept payment by cheque.
Any applicable bank or wire transfer fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Electronic Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, project deliverables will be provided electronically.
10. Source Material and Ownership
The client represents that it has the authority to provide CAD Redraw with the drawings, documents and other materials submitted for processing.
Upon full payment, the client retains ownership of its source materials and the project-specific deliverables produced for the client.
11. Confidentiality
CAD Redraw will use reasonable measures to protect client drawings, documents and project information and will use such information only for purposes related to providing the requested services.
12. Acceptance
Approval of a quote, authorization to proceed, submission of payment or use of the completed deliverables constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
