QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A little clarity before you begin.
What to send, what to expect, and where redraw fits in your work.
What source files can I send?
Start with the information you have: PDFs, scanned drawings, images, existing CAD files or legible sketches. Tell us which drawings need work and what you want to receive. We review the source quality and any file or information gaps before confirming the scope.
What will I receive?
The usual redraw deliverable is an editable AutoCAD DWG. The required file version, drawing standard, layouts and any PDF or other agreed outputs are confirmed in your project scope.
How much does a redraw cost?
The quote depends on the quantity of drawings, source clarity, drawing detail, required standard, deliverables and timing. Share a representative sample and your requirements so a CAD Expert can review the work and prepare a scoped quote.
How long will the work take?
Timing is confirmed after reviewing the source, scope and available production capacity. Production starts after approval, any required payment or commercial authorization, and receipt of the necessary information. Tell us about your deadline when you submit the request.
Can you follow our CAD standard?
Yes, include your standard or a reference file with the request so we can review it before quoting. CAD Redraw has a basic AIA-style default; your project's agreed requirements determine the layers, setup and deliverables. AIA-style describes a drafting convention, not professional certification.
Do I need an account to request a quote?
No. You can describe your project and submit source drawings without creating an account. CAD Redraw will contact you using the details supplied.
What happens if a drawing is unclear or incomplete?
We identify questions and ask for clarification. Redraw reproduces the supplied information; it does not establish that an old drawing is correct, current or complete. Unclear dimensions and conflicting information should be resolved in the agreed scope rather than guessed.
Does redraw include engineering or design approval?
No. Standard redraw converts and organizes existing source information. It does not include new engineering or architectural design, field verification, code-compliance review, professional certification or a stamp. Arrange any required professional review with an appropriately qualified professional.
How are corrections and changes handled?
Corrections needed because the delivered work did not follow the agreed source, scope, standard or deliverable requirements are addressed without additional charge. New information, added drawings or changed requirements may need a separate quote and approval.
Can I start with a sample from a larger collection?
Yes. Send a representative sample, the approximate number of drawings and any differences between the sets. We can discuss the source quality, required consistency and a practical delivery sequence before agreeing on the full work.
